On Friday, November 4th, the kick-off meeting of 4IncludE will take place in Agia, Greece. The project is co-funded by the European Union under the Europe for Citizens program and is coordinated by DICA ETS, in collaboration with seven other associations from across Europe.
The project aims to create a network of inclusivity among different territories, highlighting experiences of integration and social inclusion of foreign citizens and promoting the exchange of good territorial practices.
In particular, this meeting will address the situation of immigrants and refugees in Greece. Planned activities include a roundtable discussion involving the local community, as well as a visit to a local middle school class, in order to better understand the attitudes of the local society towards foreigners and to try to improve their perception.
Representatives from the Shelter for Unaccompanied Minors in Larisa will also be present, presenting the shelter's activities to both project participants and the local community as a demonstration of efforts made in the area towards reception and integration. The activities of the Larisa Shelter will also contribute to the 4Include Map, which will collect the good practices identified during the meetings.
The event will conclude on November 7th.
Updates, photos, and videos about the project activities will be available on our social media channels.
