THE DICA ONLUS ASSOCIATION TOOK PART AT THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF THE EU PROGRAMME

The National Conference of the "Europe for Citizens": Calls for town twinning, European networks, historical memory and integration of migrants, took place in Rome on Tuesday 21th February 2017. The DICA ONLUS Association attended the presentation as the coordinating partner of the project EU-FIN (European Union Fishing Network).

Dr. Daniele Gizzi, President of DICA, explained to the audience the project objectives, the target groups, the organization and the activities of the international events held in Ravenna, Denia (Spain), in Espinho (Portugal) and Syracuse, and other activities carried out by citizens, students and fishermen (workshops, debates, meetings, development of action plans).

Particular attention was given to the targeted results achieved and to the methodology, which was focused on raising awareness of citizens, pupils, students, fishermen, universities and regional authorities on issues related to the world of fishing.
