NGO Empaatia started as Estonian NVC (Nonviolent Communication) community which purpose was (and is) to create the world that works for everyone.

NGO Empaatia operational area are different activities supporting nonviolent and purposeful living environment. Our activities include trainings / seminars, individual counseling / couching, publishing materials etc.
Impact on the local area – in Estonia NGO Empaatia has local community that follows our news. 
Most of our work is done on voluntary basis. The area we mostly cover is Tallinn / Harju country area, occasionally also organizing some events / activities in other areas in Estonia


IPR Institute is a private non-profit institution supporting research, consulting, technical assistance and training for public and private sector with a view to promoting high quality in education, intercultural tolerance and appreciation, life-long learning, human rights, fight against poverty and discrimination and social inclusion. The purpose is to create, adopt and implement various innovative social initiatives in the field of social work and non-formal education providing services to professionals, volunteers and disadvantage and socially excluded groups. Its experience over the years, in both national and international projects, has been in the aforementioned fields, while it has built a vast network of contacts globally over the years, which will be used towards the dissemination of the project and sustainability of impact and results. The IPR Institute has implemented a number of national and EU projects, with a focus on entrepreneurship, gender equality, and employment


FOPSIM is a Maltese foundation that aims to achieve concrete progress for marginalized groups or sections within Maltese society. In this context FOPSIM's main mission is to promote and sustain employment, social solidarity, youth and active female participation in all aspects to achieve tangible advancement in the transition towards a more equitable society.

The Foundation makes use of a diffuse network of resources in the professional, academic, research and journalism fields. FOPSIM seeks to increasingly promote Malta's participation in EU affairs in the social inclusion and youth areas.

Association of forest municipalities of the Valencian Community

The Association of Forest Municipalities of the Valencian Community (AMUFOR) is a group of local entities located in the Valencian Community that have forest land in their area.

It arises from the concern of these municipalities for the conservation and sustainable management of their natural resources. It is constituted as a representation of the forest sector in two aspects: as owners of forest land and as legitimate representative of the inhabitants and rural owners.

Its objectives include protecting the environment and nature in forest areas in harmony with their population, promoting the structuring of the forest sector at all levels and contributing to the enhancement of forest culture.

Siawns Teg Limited - UK

Siawns Teg is a social inclusion charity that works in the community of Powys to break down the problems and issues surrounding unemployment, personal learning opportunities and health. Siawns Teg has a highly motivated and experienced team of Trainers and mentors and is connected to a number of other local support groups with similar ideals. We are well known locally and internationally for our innovative and effective ways of engaging people in their own destiny and opportunity.


Sdruzhenie Yuni is a non-governmental organization that works to promote and expand cooperation between academia, business, institutions and educational institutions. The goals of the organization are focused mainly on the preservation and promotion of cultural and historical heritage, the development of sustainable forms of tourism and deepening cooperation between the regions of Europe in the field of culture, science and tourism.

It works closely with organizations, institutions and experts from all over Europe to promote international cooperation in science and education, arts and culture, tourism and sustainable development;
It works in close partnership with local cultural, artistic and educational institutions, tourism service providers, youth and non-governmental organizations;
It represents the European network "Route Des Européenne Légendes" and as its official representative it is engaged in the development of the international project "European fairy tales and legends" in Bulgaria.

Association "Se poate" - Romania

The Association "It's possible" is a non-profit organization that appeared in 2014 out of passion and desire for change!

Municipality of Athienou - Cyprus

Athienou is a village in Larnaca District, Cyprus. It is one of only four villages located within the United Nations Buffer Zone, the other three being Pyla, Troulloi and Deneia.

It dates back to the period of Hellenism in Cyprus.
Identifying the beginning of its existence, one goes back more than 3000 years ago, when the first Greeks arrived in Cyprus, establishing the first Greek Kingdoms on the island.

Since the early 20th century Athienou developed significantly and one could refer to it as one of two rural capitals of Mesaoria.

Today the municipality of Athienou has a population of about ,6.000 inhabitants.

YOUTH CENTER VELENJE, culture and education

Youth centre Velenje is a public institution established in 1996 by the municipality of Velenje (Slovenia). It operates autonomously in compliance with national and local directions. It connects and offers services to partner organizations which engage in youth work or are in the public interest.

Throughout the years it established strong connections with local and regional organizations, for instance it works closely with the Velenje municipality, student club (ŠŠK) and Youth council Velenje.

Its main goals are: youth autonomy, informal education with less opportunities in society, volunteering, solidarity and youth intergenerational cooperation, youth mobility and international connection, healthy lifestyle and addiction prevention, access to culture and encouraging youth creativity and innovation, cooperation of youth in managing public affairs in society.

Association 2050

2050 was born in February 2011 in Bologna from the will of a group of people active in different fields who found themselves reflecting and discovering how to better understand and positively influence the changes that are transforming our society, with an eye to how each of us can contribute to it by feeling an active part of it, with a wide-ranging and farsighted perspective.

2050 works for social innovation and its main objectives are to 1) Raise awareness and train citizens at various levels, including those who have public roles, operators and communicators, to be more aware of the present and future processes of local and global change and prepared to face the social, economic and cultural challenges of contemporaneity and globalization; 2) Carry out concrete actions that accompany and enhance everyone's initiative and potential

Ayuntamiento de Santa Pola

Santa Pola is a municipality in the Valencian Community (Spain) located on the coast of the province of Alicante, in the region of Bajo Vinalopó. In 2020 it had 33,303 inhabitants. The main attractions of Santa Pola are its historical remains, its port, its salt flats and its beaches with the blue flag, a symbol of environmental quality assigned by the European Foundation for Environmental Education.

Municipality of Alimos - Greece

Between Ymittos and the Saronic sea stretches the modern coastal suburb of Alimos and welcomes you to its beauties and history.

It took its name from the ancient Alimunda. "Als" is the ancient Greek word meaning sea, salt, while "alimos" is the name of the honeysuckle plant that was abundant in the area.
Alimos was the homeland of the great historian Thucydides, but also the place where the famous feast of Thesmophorion took place.

The Municipality of Alimos borders with Paleo Faliro, Agios Dimitrios, Ilioupoli, Argyroupoli and Elliniko, while it is washed by the Saronic Gulf.
According to the latest census, the population exceeds 41,000 inhabitants. However, it is estimated that more than 55,000 people live in Alimos

AGOSM - Association of Parents of Guests of the Stella Maris

The association brings together parents, family members and friends of the guests of the Stella Maris Foundation institutes in Montalto di Fauglia (Pisa) and San Miniato (Pisa).

Boys and girls, in residential or day care, are people with neuro-psychic disabilities, broad spectrum autism disorders, cognitive, behavioral and relational disorders.


The purpose of the association is to contribute to making the quality of life of the children guests of the two structures as high as possible so that, even if penalized by their pathologies, they can enjoy everything taht is possible to offer.

IZZSi - Experimental Zooprophylactic Institute of Sicily

The Experimental Zooprophylactic Institute of Sicily "Adelmo Mirri", with headquarters in Palermo, is one of the ten Italian experimental zooprophylactic institutions. It is a health public corporation, which controls and monitors animal health, food of animal origin, and prophylaxis of certain diseases. The Institute is subject to the supervision of the Ministry of Health

Municipality of Tanagra

Municipality of Tanagra was established in 2011 under the Greek Law 3852/2010 and it is located in central Greece in an area of 554 square km and a population of 19.000 inhabitants. The Municipality’s economy is based mainly on the secondary sector with the presence of industries and factories, as it is considered to be Athens’ “Industrial Area”. Moving to primary sector, the products produced are olives, wheat, cotton, carrots, potatoes, onions, and primarily wines, which is particularly famous in Greece, due to the microclimate of the area. The tertiary sector of the economy is not particularly developed in the municipality boundaries, but rapid growth in neighboring municipalities, result that a significant part of the population is employed in this sector as well. Most famously, the settlement of Dilesi has significant domestic tourist movement, while alternative forms of tourism activities have been grown over the past years (religious, trekking, hiking etc).


The NeuroCare Onlus Association is a non-profit volunteer association that pursues exclusively humanitarian charitable purposes. The NeuroCare Onlus Association represents the interests of people with neurological conditions and of their caregivers during all the difficulties associated with the disease (in particular those concerning the rehabilitation and the participation in social life and/or work), promoting in many ways the improvement of health and care of neurological patients.

Viviane Foundation (DRC)

The Viviane Foundation is an NGO for development, based in the town of Mont'Ngafula (City of Kinshasa), in the Democratic Republic of Congo and that has been treating, hosting and assisting since 2004 the rehabilitation, the schooling and the vocational training of children and adolescents with disabilities of the suburban area of Kinshasa, where the Foundation is the only support for them. The health services are made available thanks to employees of the Foundation, regarding physiotherapy, kinesiology and repair of prostheses and walking aids. 

Câmara Municipal de Espinho (Portogallo)

Espinho City Council is the governmental organ of the municipality of Espinho, located on the Atlantic coast on the North of Portugal, near Oporto. Its main activities are fishing and tourism, mostly because of the geographic position of the city. The city perfectly know that the main resources for its sustenance come from the fishing industries, so during the years the city council has submitted several projects to structural funds programs to support the valorization and the increase of the coast, especially of all the fishing activities.

Ajuntament de Dénia (Spagna)

Dénia is a Municipality in the province of Alicante, Spain, on the Costa Blanca halfway between Alicante and Valencia, the judicial seat of the comarca of Marina Alta. As of 2012, it had a population of 44,455.

Located in the northern part of the province of Alicante, touching the border of the province of Valencia, Dénia is one of the best sites for fishing in Levante. Its location, next to Cabo de San Antonio and across from the Balearic Islands, make the waters of Denia in a privileged place for fishing. In the recent years Denia has been developing an important international network in order to create a system of control of the fishing according with the European rules.

Ayuntamiento de Mazarrón

Mazarrón is a municipality in the autonomous community and province of Murcia, southeastern Spain. The municipality has an area of 318.7 square kilometres, and a population of more than 34,351 inhabitants. A military fort built between 1930 and 1936 during the reign of Alfonso XIII of Spain and the Second Spanish Republic exists as a tourist attraction on the old road between Mazarrón and Cartagena, and although it is accessible from the Bay of Mazarrón it is not in the municipality itself.

The Bay of Mazarrón is sheltered by the last foothills of the Sierra de la Almenara, a mining area since the Carthaginian era. Over 35 km of beaches, unspoiled coves and rocky sea beds. Due to the nature of the surrounding rocks, however, the beach at Bolnuevo is of coarse grit, as are most of the beaches along this part of the coast.

Comune di Siracusa

The Municipality of Siracusa has 123.500 inhabitants and gives its name to the province of which it is capital. Defined by Cicero as "the biggest and most beautiful of all the Greek cities", the birthplace of Archimedes has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List with the necropolises of Pantalica. The municipality of Siracusa directs its action toward the civic, economic and social development of the community while respecting the democratic and sovereignty principles. In turn, it demands the active participation of its citizens through designated bodies and by acting in compliance with the principles of impartiality, transparency and efficiency. The Municipality, upon resolution of the City Council, can request the consultation of the citizens living outside the region and pursue, at the same time, the implementation of the principle of equal dignity of men and women.


Legautonomie is a network of Italian local authorities composed by over 2.000 municipalities, provinces, and regions. The association conducts information, technical assistance and lending services to local authorities, promotes training projects for qualification/requalification for the public administration, public policy initiatives, conferences, seminars; it develops information and publishing activities, promotes initiatives to improve a culture of the EU and to substain knowledge of EU initiatives in different fields. Legautonomie can be a fundamental role in the promotion of the European standard of good democratic governance with the national ministry, can establish a national platform linked to the implementation of the European strategy and help municipalities to experiment new tools of democracy participation.

Municipality of Agia

The Municipality of Agia is located in the Larissa regional unit, Thessaly, Greece. Agia is located east of Larissa and south of Melivoia. The Mavrovouni mountains dominate the south and the Aegean Sea lies to the east. The total area of the municipality is 668.26 km ² and has a population of 14,121 inhabitants. The current form of the municipality arose with the “Kallikratis” Program from the extension of the original municipality of Agia by the merger of pre-existing municipalities of Lakereia, Evrimenon and Melivoia. The main activities at its territory are agriculture and tourism and the organization consists of several departments and local councils.

Regional Government of Thessaly

Region of Thessaly (Thessalia) is the geographical department that occupies the central section of mainland Greece. It is surrounded by high mountain ranges encircling a low plain. It borders Macedonia to the north, Sterea Ellada to the south, Epirus to the west, and its eastern shoreline is on the Aegean. It has a higher percentage of flatland than any other district in Greece. The Region of Thessaly is characterized by the Lake Karla. Lake Karla was not only one of the most important wetlands in Greece, but also a natural reservoir, which provided very significant water storage.

Municipality of Apatin

The Municipality of Apatin owns a 160-hectare industrial zone which has internal roads and complete infrastructure on the outskirts. In terms of infrastructure, Apatin has the first ever international marina in Serbia. It has 400 berths with 120 being yacht berths and the rest used for small boats. Apatin is considered to be Serbia’s most prominent fishing centre. The town is home to several annual events dedicated to fishing.

Municipality of Ravenna

The Municipality of Ravenna has always been involved in developing international relationships with other countries and one of its priorities is to foster citizens, civil society organizations and all its public Institution in participating actively at EU enlargement process. The Municipality is engaged in projects financed by European Commission and the city has been candidate for European Capital of Culture in 2019. Ravenna has an ancient tradition of fishing in inland brackish and fresh waters, the latter most important, for the wealth of fish, the characteristics of our territory, the proximity to the sea, the salt water seeping into coastal wetlands, the presence of extensive piallasse and valleys.

Municipality of Montignoso

Montignoso is a quite little, beautiful municipality located between the Apuan Alps and the Tyrrhenian Sea, within the province of Massa-Carrara. Even if the most part of its territory is composed by mountains and hills, with a lot of ancient traditions and folklore, from some years the fishing industry has begun to assert itself more and more, initially as a subsidiary activity, then gaining in importance and value to the local economy. To emphasize the growth of this sector is the implementation of a project funded by the province of Massa-Carrara for creating a fish market in accordance with law for the fishermen in the area.

Municipality of Tetovo

Tetovo is a municipality in northwestern Republic of Macedonia. The Municipality has an important local/national and international network. Municipality of Tetovo cooperates with the municipalities of neighbouring towns and local authorities in regional and EU countries. It is a member of the community of the local self-government unit in the Republic of Macedonia. The municipality has effective collaboration with the Municipality of Elbasan; municipality Kepez, Antalya; and Bayrampasa, Istanbul.

Municipality of Pegeia

Pegeia is a public local government body in the district of Pafos, in Cyprus, and it’s is the largest municipality in terms of geographic area. Combining spectacular mountain landscapes with crystal blue beaches, Pegeia has established a strong position in tourism, attracting thousands of international and internal visitors each year. Once a sleepy fishing harbour, thanks to its enviable geographic position, the municipality has been transformed into a small but attractive and lively fishing tourist resort.

Municipality of Borgia

The Municipality of Borgia has a population of 7.418 inhabitants and a surface of 42,0 square kilometres thus showing a population density of 167,83 inhabitants per square kilometre. It rises 341 metres above the sea level, and has 3 km of coasts where a small fleet carries out fishing activities. Despite the slim number of ships the Municipality is encouraging the sector through investments and projects.

Municipality of Tuzi

Tuzi is an Urban Municipality settlement in the Podgorica district, Montenegro, located along a main road between the city of Podgorica and the Albanian border crossing, just a few kilometres north of Lake Skadar. Thank to his privileged geographical position (Tuzi is situated 10 km from Podgorica, 150 km from Dubrovnik and 130 km to Tirana) the city has developed a big tradition as a touristic city, both for the historic attractions and for the natural beauties on its environment.

Municipality of Shkoder

The municipality of Shkoder is a quite big city in northwestern Albania in the District of Shkoder, of which it is the capital. It is one of the oldest and most historic places in Albania, as well as an important cultural and economic centre. Due to its strategical position, near some of the most important Italian ports, the city has always been very important for the economy of the entire Albania, for which result very important and significant the tourism and the fishing.

The House of Women is an Association of Social Promotion, non-profit organization, supported by the volunteer work of members, open to all women without distinction of age, sexual orientation or religious beliefs, social status or geographical origin. The House is a place of encounter, reflection and cultural and political initiative where every day we work to fight against gender-based violence in all its forms, for the development and transmission of culture, knowledge and the history of women and promote the growth of autonomous female subjectivity through the practice of the relationship between women.

ADMI has the objective to develop a culture of acceptance, overcoming prejudices and cultural differences and the dissemination of knowledge of the different cultures widespread in the territory through cultural, recreational and educational programs for the citizenship

Associazione Salus Onlus, Pisa

Salus is a non-profit organization aimed to foster the strenghtening of a culture of welcome, solidarity and life, turning their volunteer activities to disadvantaged people, with social and health problems, with particular attention to people with AIDS.

Unità Migranti di Pisa (UMI)

The main purpose of UMI is the mutual integration between foreigners and Italians, aimed at understanding towards immigrants, through the organization of events in the train station of Pisa.

AMDT - Association Méditerranéenne pour le Développement en Tunisie (TUNISIA)

The Méditerranéenne Association pour le Développement en Tunisie, born in the September of 2011, has the objective of promoting the development of tourism in Tunisia and the Mediterranean, promoting the sustainable tourism sector, which is accessible to all and that implies the preservation of resources for future generations, and the increase of a development economically viable and socially equitable, anchored in the social economy and solidarity.


The Women's Center "Light Footsteps" is an Albanian NGO based in Shkodra and specialized in assisting female victims of domestic violence. The Center focuses on the promotion and awareness of the role of women in Albanian society and offers daily both services and activities such as social and legal assistance, counseling, vocational training, recreational activities for children.
SDEC - Social Development & Empowerment Center

SDEC is an NGO Tunisian born after the revolution broken out in the country in 2011. The Centre acts as main objective the support the construction of democracy. In this perspective, the Centre seeks to support the empowerment of vulnerable groups in the country and to promote the awareness of the value of citizenship and consequently to incentivize a culture of participation in the management of public affairs.
